Father Mark Wright
Rector and Discipleship Team Leader
The Rev. Mark has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Duquesne University and a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry, Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Mark and Laurel have been married for 35 years. They have two adult children, Jonathan and Joshua. Both boys were born in Texas when the Wright’s lived in Houston & Shreveport areas. Mark was formerly the Rector of Saint David’s Episcopal Church in Venetia, Pennsylvania between 1995 and 2007.
Debby Swackhamer
Children's Minister
Debby is a creative and enthusiastic leader of Children’s Ministries. A retired middle school teacher, she spent over 20 years in the classroom, the last 10 teaching kids with special needs. Deb was also a military officer, serving in the US Army Signal Corps for 6 years. She has been married to her husband, Tom, for nearly 43 years. They and their 2 children spent over 9 years living abroad as a military family. During all this time, Debby has been an active member of the church and has served in various capacities of leadership in the church and her community. She has a BS in Public Administration from the University of Missouri, and earned a second degree in English and Education from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Debby has a number of hobbies that feed her creative spirit including needlework, painting icons, crafts, travel and reading.
Joyce Neth
Lay Pastor and Ministry Team Leader
Joyce is responsible for all the support ministries, prayer ministries and is a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Joyce has been a hospital and hospice chaplain. She received her training at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, New Jersey. She has also completed her Pastoral Care training at the Blanton-Peale Institute in New York.

Matt Stroud
Youth Minister
Matt is responsible for overseeing our Youth Ministries. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He began serving at St. Nicholas in April of 2003.
